Meta Ads: campaigns, reporting, Pixel and Conversions API

Connect your ad account, read the analytics, create campaigns through the AI agent, and automate reporting.

Dukun Ads connects to your Meta Ads account so campaign performance sits next to your organic content instead of in a separate tab. You get an analytics dashboard, an AI ad copy generator, an AI agent that can create and change campaigns, and automated reports delivered to Telegram, WhatsApp or email.

Your plan determines how many ad accounts you can connect: 1 on Starter, 3 on Pro, 10 on Business.

Step by step

  1. Connect your Meta Ads account

Go to /accounts and click the ๐Ÿ“Š Meta Ads tile. Sign in with Meta in the popup, grant the permissions and select the ad account you want.

The account appears under Meta Ads in your accounts list. If it does not show up straight away, press โ†ป Check accounts โ€” ad accounts sometimes need a moment before they can be claimed.

  2. Open the dashboard

Press ๐Ÿ“Š Dashboard on the account card. The header shows the account name, its status (active, deactivated, payment unsettled, and so on) and the account ID. There are four tabs: ๐Ÿ“ˆ Analytics, โœจ AI Ad Studio, ๐Ÿค– AI Agent and ๐Ÿ“ฉ Reports.

  3. Read the analytics

The Analytics tab opens on an account overview โ€” total spent, balance, spend limit and currency โ€” followed by a date-range selector (today, 7 days, 30 days, this month, all time) and a KPI grid: spend, reach, impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, CPM, results, cost per result, ROAS, frequency and conversions.

Below that, a daily spend chart, and a ๐Ÿงฉ Performance breakdown you can segment by platform, age, gender, device or country. Then the campaign tree: expand a campaign to see its ad sets with budgets and spend, and expand an ad set to see individual ads with a ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ View preview that renders the real creative.

  4. Generate ad copy

The โœจ AI Ad Studio tab turns a short brief into ad copy. Describe what you are advertising, pick the objective (traffic, engagement, leads, sales or awareness) and press โšก Generate Copy.

You get several variations, each with primary text, a headline, a description and a suggested call to action, and each with a copy button. Vary the hook between them and keep the rest constant โ€” that way, when one wins, you know why.

  5. Create and manage campaigns with the AI agent

The ๐Ÿค– AI Agent tab is a chat that can actually operate the ad account. Ask it questions (how did campaigns perform in the last 30 days?, which campaign spent the most?) or give it instructions (generate three ad copies for a followers service and create a traffic campaign).

Tools it executes are shown as chips in the conversation so you can see exactly what it did. You can also choose which model runs the agent.

  6. Set up the Pixel

Pixel work happens on /sales. Register the page you advertise to, then either pick an existing pixel from your connected ad account, create a new one, or paste a pixel ID manually.

Paste the resulting script tag into your page's <head>. That single tag installs the pixel and the visitor tracking together.

  7. Turn on the Conversions API

The Conversions API sends conversions from a server instead of the browser, which is how you recover the events that ad blockers and browser privacy features remove. There are two paths:

    • Pixel picked from your connected ad account โ€” server-side CAPI is sent automatically. No token required.
    • Pixel entered manually โ€” paste a CAPI access token from Events Manager โ†’ Settings โ†’ Conversions API.

Then record conversions from your page with tf('Purchase', { value: 89, currency: 'MYR', email: 'โ€ฆ' }). Browser and server events are paired so Meta does not count them twice. Background reading: Meta Pixel vs Conversions API.

  8. Automate reporting

The ๐Ÿ“ฉ Reports tab sends a performance summary on a schedule. Pick a channel:

    • โœˆ๏ธ Telegram โ€” a bot token and chat ID.
    • ๐Ÿ’ฌ WhatsApp โ€” either the official Cloud API, or a QR connection.
    • ๐Ÿ“ง Email โ€” recipient plus your SMTP details.

Tick the metrics to include โ€” spend, reach, impressions, clicks, link clicks, CTR, CPC, CPM, results, cost per result, ROAS, frequency, and an optional per-campaign breakdown โ€” then choose a frequency from every five minutes up to weekly, and the send hour in Malaysia time.

Enable it and press Save & Send Test so you can confirm the delivery works before relying on it.
