Getting started with Dukun Ads
From sign-up to your first published post in about fifteen minutes.
Last reviewed 2026-07-20
Dukun Ads is an AI marketing operator: it generates content, publishes it to your social accounts on a schedule, runs and reports on Meta Ads campaigns, and tracks what actually converts. This guide takes you from a brand-new account to a real published post.
You do not need a credit card. The free trial runs for 3 days and includes enough usage to see the whole loop working end to end.
| Feature | Trial allowance |
|---|---|
| Text / caption generations | 10 in total |
| Image generations | 2 in total |
| Video generations | Not available on trial |
| Scheduled posts | 3 |
| Social account | 1 |
| Meta Ads account | 1 |
| Ad campaigns | 1 (created paused) |
| Ads created | 2 |
| Tracker (sales page) | 1 |
| Scheduled report | 1 |
When the trial ends, nothing is deleted — your account becomes read-only and autopilot stops until you subscribe. Plans start at $10 a month; see the billing guide.
Step by step
Create your account and start the trial
Sign up at dukunads.com. You land on the dashboard, which shows your connected accounts, scheduled posts and a quick-start checklist.
The trial does not start automatically at sign-up — you start it deliberately, so the 3-day clock does not tick while you are still reading. One trial per account, and it cannot be reset.
Connect your first social account
Go to /accounts. This is the step everything else depends on: without a connected account there is nowhere for posts to go.
Pick the platform you actually post to today. Threads, Facebook Page, Instagram and Meta Ads connect through Meta's own login; TikTok connects by OAuth or by scanning a QR code in the TikTok app. You sign in on the platform's page — Dukun Ads never sees your password.
Generate something to post
Open AI Studio and use the ✍️ Text / Caption tab. Write a prompt describing the post you want — the more specific the better — pick a copywriting model, and press ⚡ Generate. A text generation costs 0.1 credit.
Results land in the text gallery below the form. Each result has Copy and → Use as post so you can move it straight into a post without retyping.
If you want an image with it, switch to the 🖼️ Image tab, choose a model, a style and an aspect ratio, and generate. The exact credit cost and your balance are shown next to the Generate button before you commit.
Publish your first post
Go to the composer. Paste or write your caption, attach media if you have it, then tick the account you want to publish to under Publish to.
Choose Publish now to send it immediately, or Schedule to pick a date and time (times are Malaysia time, GMT+8). Press the button and watch the results panel — each account reports back as Published, Scheduled or Failed with the reason.
Open the post on the platform and read it as a stranger would. This is your quality baseline before you automate anything.
Add your products
If you sell or promote anything, add it at /products now: product name, affiliate link, a short description and optionally an image.
The description is what the AI reads when it writes about the product, so be concrete — vitamin C serum, suits oily skin, RM39 produces far better copy than skincare.
Turn on daily autopilot
Go to /autopilot and expand the account you connected. Give the autopilot a name, choose a content mode, paste a description of your niche and audience in the prompt box, pick a tone and language, then set how many posts per day and at what times.
Press Save, then 🧪 Test post to publish one real post immediately. Read it. If it is not right, edit the prompt rather than the post — the prompt is what runs tomorrow.
When you are happy, make sure the autopilot is enabled and it will generate and publish on schedule every day. Details in the autopilot guide.
Install tracking so you can see results
If you have a landing page, sales page or link page, register it at /sales and paste the tracking snippet into the page's
<head>. From then on you can see sessions, traffic sources, scroll depth, conversions and revenue — split into paid and free traffic.Without this step you are optimising on likes. See DukunTrack.
A sensible first week
- Day 1 — connect one account, publish one manual post, add your products.
- Day 2 — set up one autopilot at one post per day, run a test post, install tracking.
- Day 3 — read what autopilot published. Adjust the prompt, not the posts.
- Day 4–7 — add a second account and cross-post, then look at which topics produced traffic.
Common mistakes
Where to go next
- Connecting social accounts — every platform, and what to do when a connection fails.
- Composer — publish to many accounts at once.
- AI Studio and credits — what each generation costs.
